Hatching Duck Eggs

please help! Not sure what to do with this duck. Can it live? It's still attached to the inside of the egg

Did the Duckling come out?
Looked like it was still absorbing the yolk?....I hope everything went great!

He is still alive but still very much attached to the inside of egg shell. How long do you think I should leave it like that? I broke the shell a little bit so he can move around more. The duck is trying to stand up but egg shell is in the way.

I could try and help but hate to say something wrong.....If it was me, I would see if some mineral oil or something like that and warm water would help dislodge him from the shell?

But I really can't say for certain.....

I was right, she said use warm water or Vaseline and try to slowly work the shell off of him....
Let me know! She is busy at work .....

And break off as much of the shell that is not attached to the baby...

I totally trust WVduckchick....she is one of my go to helpers! Has never let me down....She just helped me hatch my Ducking Bouncer 11 days ago.....
