Looking good. Definitely an improvement. From the picture it looks like it is doing well and the naval looks like it is almost closed. I’m thinking the duckling will do good.

The duckling seems to be fine he’s grown a lot and likes to run around, his beak is partly purply brown and there’s some flakey skin on his legs is that normal?

I’m glad to hear he is doing well! From the pictures, his bill color appears normal. I have seen flaking in some of my ducklings and more than likely it’s normal. Sorry for the late response.
