Hi, it's me again 😅 we're on day 29 of hatching our second lot of ducklings, last time round we had a particularly difficult hatch with a Malpositioned, wrong end pipping ducking. Once again I find that one has pipped the wrong end(why does this keep happening I ask myself) anyway he pipped yesterday aftwrnoon and this lunchtime has made little to no progress. I'm just wondering if this seems to be the normal amount of progress for around 20hrs, I've added some pictures so you can hopefully ease my mind 😅 first pic yesterday about 4pm second pic is just now at about 12.15pm

Thankyou

Pull off some shell have a paper towel close and go slow. If it starts to bleed hold the paper towel on the bleeding area for a minute until it stops and put it back in the incubator.
It may need help now.

Losing a small amount of blood won't kill it but being stuck in the shell will.
He just broke free but is covered in like a sticky yellow brown substance, I presume he was a sticky duckling and that's why he struggled. Any idea if I should wash him or should I let it dry
