Hello all, new duckfather here needing some help. I have Rouens, and the female has now gone broody for the second time. The first clutch we only had 2 full grown ducklings that we found outside the coop, dead. The rest of the eggs we found one by one pushed out of the brooding box. These eggs were laid during the dead of winter.

Fast forward, she is now dutifully sitting on her second brood. They are due at the end of April. Our coop is heated (still gets cold during the night) so my question is; should we bring the ducklings inside or allow her to mother them naturally. Should I candle and remove non fertilized eggs?

Many thanks
