FOR CONTESTS! ​

No item too small! We will need a few smaller items for 2nd /3rd places! Hatching Egg or chick Donations, Fowl items new/used in good shape, BYC GFM's, Amazon Gift Cert, BYC Certs, etc all great items to donate! What some of us do is purchase an item from Amazon and send it directly to the winner, just make sure they have plenty of the item in stock, example chicken rooster fowl mugs are always cool! HOMEMADE DIY ITEMS ALSO ARE ACCEPTED! ​

I have hatching eggs but I'm not sure what this is all about. Do the people who will be winning these eggs have the means to hatch and care for the chickens?

Hi,
The hatching eggs would be prizes for one of the contests started in relation to the halloween hatch-a-long linked above. Anyone can win them, but usually, if they have an incubator and know enough to get them to hatch, they are experienced enough to take proper care of the birds. You can't control who wins them.

Hi!! Welcome to BYC!!!

Are you thinking about hatching some eggs in October? If you do you should join in the Fun at the HAL! If you donate a prize that would be awesome too!!
All the contests are for people participating in the Hatch-A -Long so they would be going to people that know about hatching, chick care, and maintaining their chickens, though they do have the option to gift their prize to another member or decline it if they dont want it (for various reasons)

I'll donate eggs. I have a black sex link pen, this handsome guy



over barred Rock and a cuckoo Marans hen. Chicks will be black with either gold or silver leakage, brown egg layers.

I also have a pen that will make Super Blue Egg Layers. This pretty blue barred blue egger rooster...



over white Leghorn hens. Chicks will probably be white, maybe with some ghost barring, and wonderful layers of huge pale blue eggs.

It could be winner's choice.
