Hatching eggs from older hens

I have not seen to many problems as long as the flock is healthy and being feed properly up to 5 years old, but even the broodies sometimes get tired of hatching em out they do hatch out fine in the incubator. my rooster is 6 now and still producing nice chicks. He spoils his hens and I spoil them all including him though lol. He is my comic relief, he picked his own name out when I brought him home at 3 years old, He won't let anyone in the yard if they don't' know his name is pretty boy which is only thing he will pay attention to lol/

I put my 2 year old birds in with a 2 year old rooster for like 10 days, and got 100% fertile eggs. FWIW
