Go to your state's Where are You? post and ask for some fertile eggs. Someone close to you will have something. Your odds will be better when you buy local eggs to hatch. Chances are they are fresher, haven't been mishandled by the shipper and the eggs are acclimated for your humidity and elevation. I would definitely do a learner batch before I tried some valuable eggs.
