I had a bantam cochin from wayne813 hatch yesterday afternoon. Isn't he cute? White tips on the wings! Such a cute little thing.

Cute!!! I have 5 of 6 developing from him set to hatch in about a week... Can't wait to see who hatches out!!!!

Ok, only 2 chicks in these pics were hatched from eggs I swapped for here, but seeing all the cute pics, well I just had to show some of mine!

The 2 striped chicks are from the one order of eggs Nsampsel sent me. The others, well, several different sources, lol. The older buff Silkie came from the Garry Farm. The 4 smaller Silkies from MRobbins. The 2 tiny chicks are bantams from a local friend. No idea what breed, she just brought me the eggs, lol. One chick in there, I have no idea what it is. The egg was marked 'Silkie', but is definitely NOT Silkie, lol. I have 41 more Silkie eggs in my bator, with more on the way. Guess you can tell I really really want Silkies, lol. Is about all I ever claim in the swaps.

The last pic is Oreo, one of the mystery bantams, lol.

Could the one marked silkie be from me? I thought I found some "big" silkie eggs in my pen a few days. But if it was not a silkie then I have no idea what would fly in lay an egg and me not ever see it.

Well it would be a bantam coaching, or a buff laced polish or blue laced polish those are the only choices I think.

Thank you for the offer, but DH would definitely shoot me! I only have a Brinsea Octo 20, capacity about 24 chicken eggs, depending on size, of course. Right now it is off, and will stay off, waiting for my SFH eggs from BHep. (and that special breed am I waiting to see on this thread

) I don't have a separate hatcher, though I've thought about. It will have to wait until spring. I'm still trying to work out accomodations for all of my chickens for the winter as it is. That is why I'm not claiming eggs on the swap.

But come springtime....
