My birds made it! They are fine. I just talked to the seller and he just picked them up. The post office called me to let me know that they had made it.

Lol! I didn't realize I posted a "spring" celebration! Whatever the season, your birds arriving safely is definitely a reason to celebrate!

Thank you sooooo much COF for putting that together. I was supposed to be mailing relatively shortly but had already decided to wait until it was above 35 degrees because of one of your previous posts. What box do you recommend for Juvenile chicks? One of the horizon boxes? Also upon reading I didn't see the 35 degree rule unless I missed it. I'm wondering how hatcheries get away with shipping in the winter. I'm learning this the hard way due to losses.

Also, thanks to everyone else for their responses. This whole process is so nerve-wracking. I'm not sure if I can handle it. I may have to stick to selling local or at shows/swaps/etc.
