Rachael just told me her MIL now has pneumonia and is being sent home Monday under hospice.

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that. Hopefully she makes a miraculous recovery despite them and if not she does not suffer.

So my chief of police stopped by today to talk to me. (nice guy I have met a few times) He just wanted to let me know my neighbors are very upset by my ducks. No one has ever said anything to me. Anyway he wanted me to know they are working on writing an ordinance against ducks and exoctic animals in town. He was very nice about it and wanted to give me a heads up and let me know I could come to a meeting and address it as well. I have 16 ducks right now and am trying to sell 8. (I have someoone coming next week to buy at least 6 of them) I have not decided if I want to fight to keep them or not yet. Something to think about. Anyway there don't seem to be any issues with my chickens and if there were I would fight for sure. They might get upset when I finish set up my new pens come spring!

I think you should fight. Ifhey do ducks and exotics such as peafowl, guinea then chickens will be next.

Personally, I would wait until the issue is really pushed. Especially if you already are downsizing. If it DOES actually become a problem, then I would fight it.i am blessed to live on AG zoned land, and both my immediate neighbors have chickens, so there is absolutely no issue for me. They have more of a problem with my dog than the chickens.
The guy across the road owns the land just to have "pet" deer to photograph.

Don't you love the mobile version? Kind of cuts out on swapping ability too, on some swaps, since most just have their swap page in sig.

you can change the mobile version on your phone to desktop. At the bottom of the page. I did. I do not like the mobile version at all.
