I have SFH from juststruttin hatching! They are a couple days early, I went to pull them off the turner this morning and one was well pipped! I moved him over and worried about humidity as I had him out of the incubator when I moved him over, but when I went home for lunch he was hatched!

Can't wait to see him all dry and fluffy!!

YAY!!! That is awesome!!! I just love chicks! I'm pretty sure that they are the reason I have such an addiction to poultry. The more chicks I hatch and see fluff out, the more chickens I want. lol...

I've seen a few offers of Sebbie eggs on here. Does anyone know where I can get grey Sebastopol hatching eggs? If you're not sure what I'm looking for, basically, I want Sebastopols that look like Toulouse. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I'm still a chicken newbie in my first year of ownership (helped care for chooks before, but they weren't mine). Right now I'm running an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink main flock (kind of like the Ark; I seem to be trying to have two of everything, lol!) and two started smaller dedicated breeding flocks of cuckoo marans and welsummers. (Next spring I can swap actual eggs, YAY!)

I've only done two at-home hatches so far, which was enough to convince me to build a bigger incubator. Which is now going to do its christening run with six serama eggs from corancher, lol! Go figure

Anyway, just wanted to say hi!
