I was here! See! But now I am going to bed. I ordered all my boxes for USPS and some cotton gloves and I am sure there is something I forgot to do..... tomorrow.

what are the cotton gloves for? If I might ask? Are they chicken related?

Well, we lost power. but the 'bator only got down to 85 before we woke up and noticed the power was off. DH got the generator running and informed me we have close to 50 gal of gas!!!

but some of the eggs were supposed to go into lockdown this morning. is it going to be really bad for the ones that aren't if I up the humididty for the lockdown ones and continue only running one 'bator? not sure I have a choice, actually. unless I try out the non-broody chicken forced into sitting on eggs in a too small box thing.

I have been paying off my egg swaps early before Spring. Some people have been getting chicks and juvie birds from me instead of eggs. Hopefully you are talking about Wayne. I think all the thread admins. including myself have managed to buy all the birds he owed eggs from to help cover his swaps.

I signed up to help cover some of his swaps, too, but I don't remember who was managing that. ??
