Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

I would also do the secret santa, sounds like fun..

Question for all you night shifters, How do you discipline yourself to get sleep, I have recently been thrown on permanent 11 to 7, which is great for having the time to get things done but I find myself not taking the time to sleep, I often go back into work on 2 or 3 hours of sleep, this is draining by the end of the week ???

Hey, everyone, I hate to be a pest but I really haven't gotten any response on the Secret Santa for the paypal/hatching egg swap. Do we want to do this, or should I just drop it?

Right now I only have two people that have responded that they would like to participate and the feedback has been even on the options.

Thanks!
I would love to but the only issue I see is the ones who are in the colder climates. My girls apparently don't like cold. The Tolbunts have basically stopped laying, not sure how the Legbars will do through the winter. Silkies??? Now that's funny.

So, after much thinking and pondering, I've decided the Tolbunts will stay here. I was originally getting rid of them next year at some point but have decided not to. I only have 3 hens and here is my dilemma. Only one is laying and sporadically at best. So I'm looking to get more chicks to raise through the winter since I can't hatch my own eggs. Any ideas where I can find some? I know I can get them from GFF but not sure I want to though I will if I have to.

I think we will have categories besides hatching eggs for those who are in colder areas. The way the mystery swap handles things is they have options like books, craft supplies, homemade goodies such as baked goods or jams and jellies or a good old miscellaneous category and you fill out what you want to give as well as what you would like to receive and are then matched up. You give a first and second option for give and receive to make it easier to get it to come out.

That works for me. Sign me up.

I would like to be in also.
