The males need to be at least a yr old before they start doing there thing. I have a young male that is 8 months old and won't do anything with my scovie girls. Luckily I found someone selling there whole flock right down the rd from me and I went and purchased a bunch more girls and 4 boys that are 2 yrs old.

They have been getting the job done. But my 2 girls that are 7 months old aren't laying yet.

I love chick pics (nope doesn't sound right at all). I'm happy to say I have 4 new line CCL hens and 3 new line CCL roosters. And the girls are older then the boys by a few weeks. The boys are beautiful!

I have 4 Cream Legbar roosters if anyone wants them. 2 look to have crests and so far their combs are straight. You pay shipping.

The hens have bigger crests they way they were intended to. The roosters are lighter in color. I have one that is so pale.
