Never mind. I found that you posted on another thread about some ducks that did this and grew into perfectly healthy adults. I'll just keep an eye on them for now.

I know! Gorgeous birds! The only way you can see the blue on them is when you magnify the picture and even then, it is literally one small fleck on the tail of each bird. There's still hope for those white ones after all.Wow, those are beautiful.
3 of them look like narragansetts
That is terrible! I can't imagine watching someone drop a box of birds hard enough to injure one bad enough that it needed to be killed. I would have been afraid to leave the birds there!Morning all......................Michelle sorry he is being a jerk, glad you have other options though (your bank) since he (seller) obviously is out of his mind.
Well the LLO's are missing, gone,MIA and its now Saturday. I feel sick knowing they stuck in a box with nothing with them. The jerk at the PO made Gable remove the apples from the box so they are stuck with nothing to eat at all. The jerk at the PO didnt hold onto the box either and it fell while he was checking it in and caused us to loose a hen before they ever shipped. Poor Gable had to take her out of the box and to a vet to be put down (broken leg in 2 spots from the fall). I hate to think about it, but it is looking like we will be getting a box of dead adult birds when ever the box finally arrives.
on a better note.....2weeks later and I "think" I am finally getting over this crud.
How did the MFL do for you?We are going to (hopefully) finish our new coop today! (I am trying to be excited about it). it will be great to get the older chicks we have in the house out. They are starting to really NEED to be outside (pooping machines)
it is going to be a gorgeous day! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!
And I gave the eggs CPL and BM6 sent via Herducks' chicken train to 4 broodies to hatch and they should start hatching today!

Quote: I used Frontline for dogs (1-2 drops per bird under the wings). Make sure it gets on the skin. I haven't seen a mite since, and I didn't lose any from the treatment.
I was not concerned at all.I just wanted to make sure you all know I met Herducks up at Snap-n-zap's and I had no chickens or eggs to send. (I did send a couple of pysanky, but they are washed and dyed with a vinegar bath and then lacquered so they are pretty darn safe)
So all I did was travel up there and then come back with a box of chicks. None of the chicken train birds were exposed to my birds.
Herducks never came to my property at all.
I didn't want anyone to be nervous about the MG thing.
