I'm sure hoping it is. I've lost 6+ pounds already. I don't recommend this method for losing weight.

I guess he must have lost his roo before the roo was able to do his job fertilizing the eggs. Maybe contact him back now that your roo is with his hens.

If he lost his roo...maybe they weren't fertile to begin with...now that he has yours tell him to give you some more, and try it again.

The eggs I got from him were not from his FBCMs. They were from his orphs and some EEs. He's selling these as fertilized, so I dunno. He got a gorgeous rooster too. As soon as he saw the pics he contacted me back with when can we meet. I'm not going to pursue anything with him. It just wouldn't be worth it for me. We have a better roo that the girls love. The one we traded was just running with the barnyard blends. Though he was making some very pretty chicks. We have a backup. In the works so what's done is done.

Madam my son is still out and about with his father. My hubby leaves tomorrow morning so they were making the most of their last day together. I can't do all the physical activities and sports, so they try to pack things in when they can. Plus my hubby is still staying out of my way for unplugging an incubator. If he gets home before I fall asleep I will ask unless they are already gone.

COF-- so glad your birds arrived ok... wow they are pretty... sorry to be dense, but I still can't figure out what an LLO is??

I have chicks from my own eggs hatching today, had 6 little bantam easter egger chicks hatch, holy moly they are CUTE!!! They are from bantam cochin hens and the Amer roo.. they are all looking blue and one splash... interesting since my roo is wheaten... the hens are blue split to mottled and black...

Question for ya'll..... Had one of the chicks start to zip during the night and then had died by the time I got up this morning... I took it out this afternoon to see what happened, and it's beak was quite a ways away from where it had been zipping, and at an angle from where it had been zipping (so it's beak was under the shell/membrane quite aways, I figure it suffocated)... why would that happen, or just a freak thing? It was in a large egg and had pipped on the right end and was not shrinkwrapped or anything like that... weird...
