yeah well....I don't either, I was saving for an ecoglow....but chicks and chickens got in the wayI finally got the new chickies settled in for the night under their ecoglow. The only thing I don't like about new shipped chicks: it is so hard to get them to understand what the ecoglow is for.
newly hatched bantam choc dont figure it out too well around here either todayI finally got the new chickies settled in for the night under their ecoglow. The only thing I don't like about new shipped chicks: it is so hard to get them to understand what the ecoglow is for.
You really need an ecoglow. I hate using heat lamps. I'm looking to kick all the chicks out of the house once we get the bantam wyandottes taken care of. I'll put the sweeter heater out in the coop for them. Peace of mind.yeah well....I don't either, I was saving for an ecoglow....but chicks and chickens got in the way![]()
They will deliver them unless it is specified on the shipping label or box to hold at the PO...are you not going to be home? also, I had four eggs sit in PA for four days in freezing weather and there are still three that are developing...still waiting on results from that mix up
newly hatched here pick it up quick since they spend most of the first day asleep under it. Shipped chicks take all day to figure it out or most do and night time is a nightmare trying to get them all to stay under it. The new chicks are in the basement brooder so it's cooler down there and they really need to learn where the heat is.newly hatched bantam choc dont figure it out too well around here either today
Quote: call the PO first thing in the AM and ask them to pull the box and hold it aside for you to pick up. They will
