175 pages... Sorry, I couldn't read them all. I couldn't keep up with you guys this weekend - to much going on. Between girls day out and sick chicks...

How was everyone's weekend summarized?

I have chicks going out to Profti tomorrow. I've shipped juvies and older birds, but this is my first time shipping chicks. With the juvies, I secured the heat pack to the side of the box. Should I put it on the bottom for chicks so more of them have access to it at once?

I've also received differing views on express vs priority for shipping chicks. Opinions please. They will be traveling from Louisiana to Minnesota. Thanks for any responses!

I had chicks shipped to me priority...4 days later I got them...don't do it...express is guaranteed!

Quote: no it is not. It can take 2 days and sometimes 3 for live birds even sent express. They tell you by this day at this time, but dry ice and other reasons can bump them from flights delaying their arrival
yes, but don't they have to refund if something happens? Also we never heard what happened with proftis birds you sent...

actually no they dont have to refund on live birds as their rules state delays can happen. Its section 601 of the live animal code USPS.

no idea what happened as its a claim Profti had to file as the receiver. box was clearly opened and birds were taken.
