I had 5 adorable SBEL fluffballs hatch from DMRippy! This one is my favorite

I put 2 paint silkies from madamwlf and 7/7 (wow!) SFHs from KYTinpusher on lockdown tonight! I ALSO received porcelain silkie eggs (awesome packing, no broken eggs!) from emvickrey last night and put them in the bator tonight! What a good night!

I hope they all hatch for you!

Wheatens are not the BEST layers but ok. Anybody made that cross?

LOL! Well, actually I lost a few six-week olds to the darn barn cats (whose owner FINALLY came and got them - it was supposed to be temporary housing, not five months!) and just traded a bunch of my extra roos for some venison meat (yum!) so currently I'm at 35. With probably about a hundred eggs coming, ack! So who knows WHERE I'll be at in spring!

Msztre, they're lovely! My wonderful secret santa sent me some mixed mystery eggs and one of the roos is a SBEL -- none of the eggs are blue, though, so I don't know what's going to happen Very exciting!

Has anyone used the mannapro egg maker? Is it better than the omega ultra egg? I am trying to increase production...added lights 2wks ago and its getting better but I thought a supplement couldn't hurt. Any thoughts?

Picked up my incubator today. It is still in the truck so I couldn't take an actual picture. There is something not quite "right" with the way the "what ever it is" in the upper Right Corner (inside) so if anyone could tell me what this part is called, I will just order a new part. I looked on Dickey's incubator site and they have replacement parts, but I need to know what it is called. Any help for the incubator challenged would be appreciated.....

It looks brand new. You got a GREAT deal. When you can, get the acrylic door like madamwlf said. That is one thing I will be getting for my Sportsman before spring time. I hate not being able to see inside mine because it has a solid door.
