x2 on the humidifier.... I don't think my kids could sleep with a cold without one.  I use it all the time.  I have seasonal eczema and we have gas heat so it just kills my hands.  The humidifier helps with my allergies too that the dry air does NOT help.

Told my hubby the other day, I NEVER had eczema this bad till we got married.  I never had gas....never will if I can help it....:/
