I'm so excited!!!! I can hardly wait! What is it about time standing still when it comes to eggs and incubating? It's never moved as slow as it does now.

252 posts while I was at work? Really? Obviously, I can't both work and keep up with this thread. Looks like I'll have to quit.
I have trouble with 'social cues' so if you are kidding, sorry.

But, if you are not, you can pick out the few posters that are most interesting to you and 'subscribe/follow' them. Then you review their post lists and lighten your read load ........

Or, just read backwards for the time you feel is appropriate for you....

can you tell I don't do 'rejection' well

I just found out that I CAN have roosters where we are already living...the only requirement is that if I'm going to have roosters they would have to be kept...in the house with us.

...crap Then again, there are lots of people who have housechickens. Maybe if I were to just go with 1 nice SQ Silkie rooster, I could keep him in the house as a pet and keep the ladies outside in the coop. Doesn't seem too awfully far-fetched (we're not moving at all for 2 years and I'm not waiting that long to breed my own chickabees). Seems Silkies might actually be an option, no?

If they are Seramas you'd be good to go

hmm...I googled Seramas, those are actually quite cute. hmm..hmmm...*thinks mischievously*

[Edited to add] As far as I can tell they are not ABA recognized/standardized. Why is that? *goes to google again*

I don't have any myself, but from what others on the swap have said, apparently they are a super-addictive breed
