I would have to say all of them in the photo are girls.

9 girls?

Where am I going to get a rooster????

Just looked and baby makes 6 will be sending me NJ eggs. SURELY I'll get a rooster!!!

Are you keeping them in the house bc they are not old enough to go outside, or are you just wanting to keep them inside?

Where we live we are not allowed to have roosters. However - the ordinance states that no rules, be it gender or otherwise, apply if they are inside. <wink wink> I called Animal Control and the manager verified that yep, I can have roos in the house but he couldn't see how anyone in their right mind would want to. ='( In any case, Seramas are very tiny, so I think a tiny bird in a tiny house is a perfect combination. We'll be moving in 2 years (well, 1 year, 11 months) at which time I'm getting white Chanteclers (if they're not extinct by then, sigh).

OK - Here they are - NJ - They are all exactly the same color. - pictures are not the best, but did not want to leave them out long.
BOYS or GIRLS (sorry about the poo in pict. they are still in incubator.) Final count 9 out of 12. other 3 were fully developed, just did not hatch??

CUTE!! I can only see 3 heads though - not 9. =/ The one in the upper right - where we can only see like a smidgeon of the neck - looks like that one might be a boy with all that yellow at the base of the neck but I can't see the whole head. The three heads that I can see though..look like girlies.

Soon as hubbie gets home from work I will try to get a good picture of each chick. I did hatch 2 golden sebrights and a silkie with them but it won't help much if they are roosters. I really prefer THEY be hens.

So my bad luck with seramas continues. I received 12 eggs and 7 went into lock down due to hatch on Tuesday. So far nothing! I have received I don't know how many serama eggs and have 1 chick to show for it all.

Don't give up on them yet!! I have had them hatch after 5 days in lock down. If you do not get any, I will send you a dozen replacements free of charge when the girls start laying again..... They are too great to have to give up! If that doesn't work I will try shipping some to you.....

The one chick I have hatched 3 days after due date. I have not given up yet! Crazypetlady is going to send me some chicks one of these days! I need to get a good picture of the one I have. She is a pretty little thing!

I feel your pain.

I've managed to hatch only one out from shipped eggs and then it died a week later

I have six eggs set to hatch next week

but not from the incubator..I decided to let momma set the eggs.
