I know how you feel. My CCL have completely ceased production.

I put lights on my pair of cream legbars. My 1 hen is laying an egg everyday.

Sometimes I think I'm slipping..... Without a note, I can't find my list - if you know what I mean. I thought CPL said last Sat. that we would be doing something tonight. If so, we will hear soon enough. If not, it was just my imagination.

We have been putting up insulation in the chicken house today as we are expecting more bad weather. I would never want to be a carpenter for a living. I did not do well crawling around in the rafters!!

I was chuckling all the way thru the thread this morning!   CPL, that's what it looks like up here too, except it's still snowing1 :Luckily my birds are all in one big barn -- gives me a big target to shoot for!

Kraftyladies, congrats on the new purchase! I totally know what you mean -- I get that same little kid excitement just by going and looking at the spring eggs on my swap page

Okay, time to head out into the snow and check on my chickies!!!

The lights are on! I think it's the cold. I wouldn't want to work when it's only 12 degrees either. But I refuse to provide heat. If we lost power they won't keel over because they aren't dependent on the heat.

I agree. Somehow their timer got messed up so I'm hoping now that it is fixed they will get back to laying.
