I get it. I just personally think its shady. And it's weird that they just joined BYC but know who I am when I have a different name on RBA. They have like one post to their name.

But when you posted earlier today that you had the winning bid at the moment it was pretty easy to figure it out it was you using a different name. Maybe they were a guest and seen your posts earlier

Well, if they found this thread they should have no problem finding the swap thread... and with a good connection, a little luck, and a lot of hovering, they should be able to get their hands on some bresse!

The part that CREEPS me OUT is that YOU DIDN'T WIN THE AUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW DO THEY KNOW YOU ARE GETTING THE BIRDS..... EGGS..... IDK....

It's just weird. And I'm aware that its an auction and again I'm not angry it's an auction. I still think its shady to bid at the last second but that's just me. People will always do it. That's just the breaks.

I'm just a little weirded out that they would contact me about it. It looks like they joined early December. I'm over it. It's no big deal. Just odd. The good news is I was lucky to have Candace being a superstar and that's that. Now more bresse to offer earlier!

Well, if they found this thread they should have no problem finding the swap thread... and with a good connection, a little luck, and a lot of hovering, they should be able to get their hands on some bresse!

I don't even find that this odd.  They might have been a lurker and that is what made them find the auction.  They might have had no reason to join until they wanted to send a PM.

Now if they showed up at my house...................that I'd find creepy, LOL

If they show up at our house they'll be greated by my friend Delilah and I'm pretty sure they don't want to meet her!

For me, if I really want an auction I hover over my keyboard and wear out the refresh button until the auction closes............and still sometimes I lose. If it's not a make or break for me, I bid, put in a reserve bid if it's allowed and then walk away.

But I'm usually a little too competitive for that.....

That's what I'm guessing. They've been lurking and jumped on the auction at the end.
