Well, finished cleaning out the incubator, none hatched. Power went off on the 30th and was off for 17 hours. I candled and float tested, no movement. Oh well, better luck in spring. I seriosly need to buy a generator.

I am so sorry. It is hard to loose them isn't it? I can't figure out how it is so easy to get attached to an egg!

Out of 12 Blk. Orp eggs WVChick71 sent,10 went into lockdown on Sunday. I have 1 out, 1 zipping and 6 more pips. Very big, noisy chicks.

I have to admit, though...I thought everyone in WV had generators! you definietly need one!

My NPIP is in my signature block.  I hardly ever bring anything more then eggs and chicks onto my property.  I'm very leery about buying older birds.

I think Signature block NPIP# is a great place!!!

That's where mine is too.
