Could it be a Sultan? Do they come in dark colors? Feathersite says Sultans are feather legged (though they are also supposed to have vulture hocks which that chick doesn't have), and have five toes.

For those of you getting eggs from the mystery chicks... don't worry, you will get eggs from ones that have been identified.
that being said, if I don't know what they all are by THEN... I don't need to be raising chickens!

How ridiculous that you cannot get a list. It's really hard to figure out with these rare breeds, for sure.

I also have one chick from them that I am not sure about.. I'll try to get a photo.
