I got my Bourbon Reds!!!!!

I LOVE them!!!! So I went out to the farm and made really great friends with the breeder who has show quality stock and breeder quality...... well...... they're not going to lay now until Feb because he let me pick three from his potential show pens!!!!!

I couldn't believe it. I just couldn't pass it up. They were SO much prettier! I'll take some pictures very soon! It's just been really yucky the last two days!

I use a 7x7x5 1/2 box4 on the USPS site also they have a shoe box box that looks perfect for a dozen eggs. I have some of those coming too.

I think I use the #4 box and I put it inside a #7 box.

I had an experiance one fall with one of them their spiders back when I lived in the OK Panhandle!!! I had a dog going to have pups, and I went out to the shop to check on her. Well, I went in the shop, and turned the light on and was checking Brook, and turned around to leave and there behind me was one!!

I don't know where it came from, and don't know where it went!! The thing was almost as big as a dinner plate, and it JUMPED at me. HOLY #**+**!!! I took off running into the house, and told my husband. He laughed and went out to check. Came back in and said there was no spider. I didn't go into the shop anytime soon. It was all hairy and a dark brown, almost black. Only thing he said he seen in the shop was the dog and rubber off the bottem of my tennes shoes!
