I printed my own label from my account at USPS. This is very complicated.

I think one thing to do is always make sure they scan the package in when you give it to them. They usually give you a receipt showing they accepted it.

when I printed my label it printed the receipt along with the label...I just take the packages down and drop them off at the window. I have never had any trouble shipping eggs though. I have traded and sold numerous times and they always arrive in a timely manner.

Once they confirm your confirmation # one of the mods will clear you for your next swap, just hang in there

Our PO never gives me a receipt for my packages that I send and I am in there every day. Our postmaster (the only one working there) always scans them right away unless there is another customer. Ours is a very small town.

I moved my silkie babies tonight to the basement brooder. Thought I would get a few pictures of them running around. All of the paints are from my birds along with the blacks. The blues and partridges are from sebrightmom. There are also some jersey giants in there. One paint looks to have a black stripe down the back of its neck. Another has a nice partial black wing. You can see it in one of the pics.

I just got my very first Paint Silkie eggs Monday from emvickrey. They were put in the incubator yesterday. So, I have 13 eggs in there. They come from a pen of a Paint roo over 1 Paint hen and some Black hens. I really hope I get at least one or two Paints out of them! I had never even heard of Paint until recently... They remind me of Dalmations.
