I have a girl like that. Smallest bird in the flock but lays the biggest egg.

The new incubators, all up and running! I have to candle tonight on the new styrofoam one -- those poor eggs went thru SO many temperature swings in the old, thin, cheesy one. (After they survived the one temperature spike, four days later I woke up and the temp in there was 36.2. AUGH! So we'll see.) Now they've got a lovely rugged Omaha Steaks carton to hatch in -- if they hatch...

I think mine has just given up. He sees them go out; he sees them come in and just asks, "what are you going to do with all these chickens?" and walks away.
