These are my maran eggs. I just have never seen this coloring before in the chicks I have hatched out.

If it hatched from your eggs and you've never had that color of chick hatch out before - sounds like a sport chick maybe. Can you take a picture?

It depends on what you wormed them with. Some things have a withdrawal period, some don't.

Mine laid a fart egg too. Adorable. I emptied it and it sits on my book shelf. Now I have a Tolbunt Polish fart egg that's so much smaller. I'm afraid of breaking it if I try emptying it.
