I do have a few Isbars from GFF, and I am going up to Jordan farms at the end of this month to pick up a few more. So I don't need them, but would love to hatch some! But eggs really are too risky at the prices they are going for. I have had good luck for the most part with the chicks I got from them, even though some really are still mystery chicks.

Their eggs are actually worth it. All of the Isbar eggs I've gotten from them are growing.

Except for the Olandsk Dwarf eggs that is.

I probably will try again later for them, but right now my chicken allotment is going towards more chick order for spring. I do have one very special kind I am getting that I have not shared, except to maybe 1 or 2 people. It's a surprise! So I gotta get those paid for first. Who woulda thunk it that we would have chicken allowances? A few years ago, I would have thought you needed to be committed. What has the world come to?

So out of 14 eggs I pulled 4 clears.  The rest are growing.  The 4 I got from a mixed batch are growing as well.  Once again I pulled the Olandsk Dwarf eggs.  None of them started.

Congrats on all the viable eggs! I've had very poor luck with shipped OD eggs also.

I decided to get a trio of Swedish Olandsk Dwarfs instead of the eggs - Do any of you have them? I would take any advice you have......
