My lonely CCL chick is a PULLET

I have a roo for her too LOL. I had a good hatch and by tomorrow I expect one more it was pipped. I think 2-3 eggs had not pipped but I had 20 new babies when I left

Sorry for all the PO problems. I have only ordered one batch of chicks and they all got here just fine. I have more coming in the spring and I hope that luck continues.

Man, sorry for everyone's USPS problems. I'm so glad I don't have any eggs in the mail right now. We ordered something from Amazon a week and a half ago (Berkey water filters) and they were guaranteed by yesterday... still nothing! I can't imagine shipped eggs doing worse than my 1/3rd remaining on day 9 for NYDH, but dang. FedEx and UPS seem to be just as backed up right now, too. Tis the season!

DMRippy- Are you hatching CCLs out? Could you post pics for those of us who *wish* we were?

I'm always curious about how people pick the names of their farms/etc... how did you pick RoyalT??

My yaks are mostly the "Royal" color which is the piebald pattern. This is the herd:


And this is my bull, Bullet

See how he kinda looks like a Holstein on steroids? haha I think so, anyway...

Then the "T" is for our last name, and Acres is because we only have 10, so it's not really a huge RANCH

The old name, 9gerian Mile was for 9 Mile (our area) and Nigerian Dwarf Goats. But once I sold all the goaties earlier this year, that name just started to wear on me and remind me "Hey, you don't have goats anymore!" So I needed a change

The status has been updated as of 1:00AM this morning.

I was waiting for someone else to do it and get the extra swaps, but no one did, so I have to. Jinx on Papa Brooder and srpaint. Both of them went 1 over on their swaps and are done until Sunday.
