I'm so sorry to hear this...poor things. So I have decided high humidity during lock down does not really help. I hatched 9/12 eggs last week with a humidity of around 40%. This time for lock down humidity is around 65% and everyone who has pipped is shrink wrappedI am slowly helping a couple chicks out of their shells. I cannot figure out what is going on!![]()

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear this!! I'm very happy that the chicks that are already out seem to be doing well though - strong little chicks for withstanding the cold and persevering! Please update us when you canAs of last night, 2 of the SFHs from BHep had hatched and the other 4 were all pipped internally. I woke up this morning to a power outage and rushed in to check on them. I have no idea how long it was out, but the bators were COLD. The 2 that hatched last night were very cold and huddled together, but are ok. One chick died in the shelland the three remaining were alive but wet and very weak with pieces of shell clinging to them. I did my best to keep them warm with air-activated heat packs. The power came back on about an hour later and I put them all in and had to leave for work. I am so stressed wondering if they're ok.![]()

I don't know I would do it again unless it was a very special occasion!
I'm very happpppyy. I mean..I'm sad that there was a shipping error/miscommunication of sorts, but I'm very happy for you that they are alive and you could hear them peepin' away, that's great!Well chicks arrived .... At the wrong PO! Though seller responded to my email about PayPal randomly using an old address, he never actually changed the shipping label. Thank god I have friends who are visiting tomorrow who can pick up the chicks for me and drive them the 2 1/2 hrs to the right address!I could hear chirping on the phone but should have a report in an hour or two from my friends.
YAY eggerssssss...and still praying for shrinkchicksI am so glad this snow storm has kept me home from work! I am going about every hour to moisten membranes on chicks. I did have to brave the snow to run to the PO to pick up my eggs from papa brooder. All the way from CA and they look great! 9 eggs arrived intact and nicely packaged.

Edit: Cj is okay
