Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

Me too, I was trying to figure if GFF allows local business though... Can't find any address or info on the website that would allow me to pick up, say, hatching eggs... I think I would totally be willing to pick up a breeding pair or trio if I didn't have to pay for shipping. I would also love to go just to gawk at the place!!

They do, you just have to talk to Jenny. Pickups at the farm are only Tues- Thurs, or Mon-thurs I can't remember. They don't do tours anymore though.

email Jenny I think they allow pick ups they just do't let you on the farm.

I did that once, before we installed the emergency pull string for the latch. luckilly we were still building the thing, so clean floor and I could just sit down and relax until DH got within earshot.

I was chuckling all the way thru the thread this morning! CPL, that's what it looks like up here too, except it's still snowing1 :Luckily my birds are all in one big barn -- gives me a big target to shoot for!

Kraftyladies, congrats on the new purchase! I totally know what you mean -- I get that same little kid excitement just by going and looking at the spring eggs on my swap page

Okay, time to head out into the snow and check on my chickies!!!

Oh my goodness, I just found a little chick riding the rails in the incubator. I completely forgot to pull 2 of my silkie eggs over to the hatcher! CPL, it is the prettiest little black silkie! Adorable!

OK - Who is Jordan Farm and do they have a web site? I love to gawk also. I want to go go GFF also. If you let me ride along I promise not to talk (except about chickens) ask for potty breaks or ask a ba-gillion times if were there yet!!!! I wonder if we are the only people in America who work our vacations around how close we can get to someone Else's chickens?? Glad I locked everyone up last night - it snowed - AGAIN... I went out and the snow is now over my boots. Still not over the causality of the peahen in the blizzard. May not let anyone out till the thaw!!
