Would you take 3?? 7 years, 4year and 19 months?? I love them to death, but there are some days I'd love to sleep past 7am=)

Same here....

Got get em girls!!!!

Still looking for feedback on the plants??? Only RBF wants some, haha, probably don't have enough for a croad langshan, tho.... Maybe Susan and Walli's plants were to sad when they got them and they don't want to tell me??
Who needs sleep? It is greatly overrated. As someone who had a son who didn't sleep through the night but once until he started kindergarten and a daughter who had colic for 9 months, the insomnia from menopause is MUCH worse.

caj, are you still trying to steal everyone's children? :) Can't have mine, he's too big! Here he was in doofy teenager mode -- oh, those curls!

Love that picture. It reminds me of my teenage years in the late 70's and early 80's. Oh wait, now I'm dating myself. Oh well.

Ok, those of you who are Marans people. I have my first set ever (beautiful Birchen from crfarm). I don't have any pips, rocking, etc. yet. I always have early hatchers. I'm wondering now since I keep hearing Marans are hard to hatch. Is there anything (at this late point) that I need to be doing?
Marans can be tricky . FCBM's seem to be the worst. I've not tried birchen but they could be a little smoother. I keep an ear on them and have been known to help if they get stuck. I have been known to make sure they are getting air too.
My husband bought training collars for training dogs. I was against it so I told him that until he proved it would not hurt them he could not use them. He innocently handed me one and said put your fingers on the two post. He put the receiver on 1 and is just tickled. I said not bad, I could live with it. I was still sitting there holding the collar and I said as long as you NEVER put it over 1 ok. He said he may occasionally need to go higher. I ask how much higher... Loving husband turned it up to 6 and zapped me before I could let go.... I peed the recliner, threw the collar and fell out into the living room floor. I could not move my right arm for an hour. He still thinks it is funny. He even took pict with the iphone. I love him, but he has a whacked sense of humor.
DH would do that, except he'd shock himself at 6 to prove it.
I don't think USPS will let you ship children...
Its called airplanes! Mine on a couple of 2 year olds.
He is looking at some type of chicken from FRANCE. I told him we would have to look into chickens others wanted, NOT just what we thought was neat looking......
Importing is snarly. Its not as simple for chickens as it sounds. I was looking at importing chickens from Australia. I was told to expect 1500 per bird costs. But when I was totting it up it was looking at more like 4500. Chickens are worse then other crap becuse of US needs to have where they come from and gets certs etc. furniture from bali was MUCH easier!
I have heard that the process is very time consuming, stressful, and costs a TON of money... You can read about one person's journey to importing birds right here: http://widgetcreekranch.com/import.html
See above.
