Maybe you are actually getting juvies instead of what they normally send: very young birds.  Weren't they mailed yesterday?  Shouldn't you have them already?

They went to the PO at about 330 yesterday. It just shows them in FL. There's no scan other than acceptance and delivery to sort facility :/ I just can't get how I can pay for amazon prime and get things next day but am only guaranteed 2day shipping on live animals with USPS. And I can't believe that after all these losses they aren't taking precautions to change that!

I have to say that I was considering buying some birds from greenfire farms, but after all the bad reports I will not. There are too many people on here with breeds I am interested in for me to want to deal with them. I can be patient! I will be patient! I think

Yup, quite a bit too soon. Give them until Day 10. I sometimes wait until I am either adding eggs or removing eggs to candle. If it's a long time period I will open the incubator a crack to give it a good sniff to make sure there is nothing rotten going on. Otherwise I try to wait until lockdown to candle.
