Just sharing for grins

The boys love the NYD chickies. Seven "Baby Kevins"! Hooray.
The first chick they remember was a singleton we dubbed "Kevin". Now all chooks are "Kevins".

I'll have you know that brooder was spotless at 7am when I left for work. They've been busy, little buggers.

DS3 sporting the chapped lip look (he's a hand gnawer when playing on the computer) and hamming a goofy look for the camera.

DS2 talking to his baby Kevins.

We have been too. Had an email for quail....uumm the add was for geese, and no I cant trouble shoot why your quail arent laying or how to set up breeding

Same here:

I place ad for sale of X..... they say they want to buy Y.... and I respond and say I have X, not Y for sale. Read much?

Does it happen only during the winter or all year? This is the first I remember getting that type of responses. This summer I didn't have problems with responses, but I don't remember past years!

I'm looking forward to the CL low ballers in the spring after I've hauled my bumm out in the weather a few times a day all winter.

My grandson is a Kevin!!!

The sad thing is, a LOT of people use "sell" and "sale" interchangeably! Drives me freaking NUTS! They have this for sell, or are saleing that. I see it on forums where people are talking and not just on ads, so those aren't all scams. I often ask if things are still available, lol.

Speaking of scams, most are very dumb. Like the person selling a horse on our's recently, how it was an indoor pet, but now they live in an apartment too small for the horse... just pay the out of state shipper and the purebred horse is your's free!

I actually post in my CL ads that I don't answer 1 line emails such as "are these still available" they must tell me what area they would be coming from so I know they are local.
