Speaking of scams, most are very dumb. Like the person selling a horse on our's recently, how it was an indoor pet, but now they live in an apartment too small for the horse... just pay the out of state shipper and the purebred horse is your's free!

Good idea! When I respond to an ad, I usually change the title so they know that I took the effort and didn't just copy and paste a response., lol.

I get a lot of replies that copy wording from someone else's ad. A reply to an ad for chicks I have may say something like "32 inch flat screen TV?"

Does it happen only during the winter or all year? This is the first I remember getting that type of responses. This summer I didn't have problems with responses, but I don't remember past years!

ALL YEAR! I also get lots of replies just FISHING too.... I will only reply if they send me their name and number. I get 4-5 replies one right after the other.... just trying to get email addresses I think.

The sad thing is, a LOT of people use "sell" and "sale" interchangeably! Drives me freaking NUTS! They have this for sell, or are saleing that. I see it on forums where people are talking and not just on ads, so those aren't all scams. I often ask if things are still available, lol.

That drives me crazy too! It is FOR SALE you are not SALEING IT! Even my computer knows that isn't a word!
