I am after some Brahma on eBay....I really need to replace my roosters

Light Brahma or Dark Brahma ? I have a dark boy he is Huge and im hatching some large eggs but these are the dark ones 

I want dark brahmas toooooooo!!!!

Good i bought a trio the one ended up being a male and the little 15 lb guy does not crow so i put the 3 in a 10x6 dog run. and im getting Hug eggs . Did you want eggs or chicks and i am not Npip certified so i will have to look into that.

Eggs, chicks...both fun! Either would make me happy!


You guys have been busy today! It's the first time I've been able to check today, as we brought in a few bottle calves this morning to set up. I finally gave up on trying to get a list. I do not think CPL has been feeling well and I think everyone else is too busy with the new thread..... I have several unclaimed prizes also. I'm going to send the claimed ones and return the ones that were not claimed. If they wanted them they would have gotten a hold of me by now. You will be getting chicks from me and I got a claim for 2 gift cards but the rest was unclaimed. I do not feel right keeping it so on Monday I am going to make my rounds and return what is left. Okay, buns are now in their new homes getting cozy. I managed to get most of the stuff down in time for the first game. Still have a bit of time.

Now, where is Celtic? I need some help on incubating Cayuga Duck eggs. Apparently I stink at it and I really want to hatch some for my friend.

Ducks need different set ups than chickens who pop like popcorn

Got my first swap eggs in the mail today from Papabrooder! They were all packaged beautifully, none broken. About 1/2 have detached or funky looking air cells though, and one of the eggs has a little dark dot floating around inside.

I've read up on the detached air cell but the dot is a puzzler. Any ideas?

But what kind of set up? I have some I'm incubating now plus getting a few more. I've never done ducks before.

It's warm out today (43F!), so we spent some time scraping, scrubbing and disinfecting the porch and driveway. We're in warming up on break then it's back out to spot clean the bird room. But the porch was like a mine field! They have been out for a few days now, but only had access to the yard today, sso they've been chillin on the porch and driveway, pooping it up for the past few days. Yuck! G had a conversation with them... "If I had any idea that you'd poop so much on the porch, I'd never have agreed to let you be here." I added that they needed to put their big boy and girl panties on and go in the yard, snow or no snow!
