They are only allowed to walk about 10-15 feet into my back yard but I plan to have them right outside the gate in any case, even if for that small space. I got them on ebay, two sizes, one for under mens size 10, one for over. http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-Disposa...691?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item564dcab8e3 They're cheaper from overseas but I like to purchase domestically.

50/50? Really? I think it's more like 75/25. At least for me. Boys, boys, boys. Another hatch of CCLs yesterday and I got 6 boys and only 2 girls. Again. These hatches are starting to feel like a broken record.

Okay, nobody's on my other main thread, so I'll ask here. I have a chance to buy a gqf stacking brooder system with two heated brooder units and two grow out units. New the heated units are $224 and the grow outs $154. It's been used one season. She's asking $600 for all. Whatcha think?

I wouldn't. It doesn't matter to me how many times it was used, it's used. The price should be less then that. It's like the person around here with the GQF incubator that's 2 years old. They are trying to sell it for $500. You can get a brand new one for a few hundred more.

off 450 or 500 as they are used and you will want to disinfect them if you buy them
