I only have the styrofoam cartons, so I will trim them a bit and divide them into 4's or so. What about cutting out the holes in the bottom, Brookhavens? For low pippers?

Thanks so much for the advice.

I'm excited!

Made it back home from errands about a half hour ago. Got shipping box for kraftyladies' order :) and cooked bacon (I'm making hawaiian pizza later -- which reminds me, need to start the dough!) Now I get chicky time :) It's nice having them in the kitchen, actually -- I can take a few out to snuggle for a few minutes and then pop them right back in! They've started running up to the door whenever they see my feet. Well, at least some of them do!

One of the eggs I set yesterday started weeping, so I pulled it. Super quick for it to get weepy, less than 24 hours. When I broke it open, it had a meat spot, but wasn't scrambled or anything. No development either.

Hubby says my bantam Lavender Ameraucana eggs arrived, woot! Looking foward to seeing them when I get home.
