Glad you said that! Even though I am off that day, I sure wasn't thinking about that and was planning on mailing eggs sat.
I guess there will be some going in the incubator.

Why are you trying to get it higher?  That's good for hatching.

Everyone, I feel so horrible I shipped out my first trio of live birds Tuesday. They still haven't arrived. That means they have been in the box with no water since roosting Monday night. I am so afraid that they will die of dehydration. I put apples in the box along with a square of fodder, but don't know if they will be able to get to it. I feel guilty that animals that I was responsible for have been suffering and are possibly dying a horrible death. How long can they go without water? I'm not so worried about the food.

I have had birds take three days to arrive and they were fine

Express can take 3 days for live birds depending on location.

Oh and on that note...... We have suspended all live bird shipping to the Midwest and north east until this recent storm is done

Thank you. I have been just sick to my stomach all afternoon and checking to see the updates. I have to go fight with the PO tomorrow for my guarantee on shipment to get shipping costs back.

Could you incubate them see if theyre fertile then stop incubating them and ship them?

Friday is the third day and within the allowed time frame. USPS changed the rules recently and refunds are rarely given, and not for delayed shipping.
