I really don't think I can ever afford to import any breed/eggs from the UK. But man, I wish I could!

Donna, I have 4 chicks hatching from the lav/lav split eggs. question, I have one that is apparently splash and the others look very dark blue... lol they don't look the normal black or lav color. they are noisy little things!!!

wonder if the isbars are more fragile as a breed in general?

I would say they are. I've had at least 6 chicks die for no apparent reason. They aren't very hardy chicks.

From what I have read, the Isbars certainly have more problems than most chickens

Oh, what a beauty! Are you sure he's not a malamute? Even with the extra padding he looks too stocky to be a Siberian Although I've only seen two malamutes with blue eyes...

Looks malamute/husky mix, imo. Blue eyes are rare in malamutes, since it's a disqualification. His nose looks more husky, ears look more malamute, body looks malamute, unless that's one very, very, very fat husky body!
