Did anyone happen to read my earlier post about yolk membranes breaking easily? I'm still trying to figure out what could cause that. I tried google and didn't get anything definitive.

I posted my question when the thread was slow; not sure how I managed that lol.

Sorry I did see that. I don't know what that means. I noticed that my fresh eggs did that more than my store eggs. It also occurred to me that the fresh eggs were no in the fridge either. Once I put them in the fridge before I cook them I don't see that problem any more.

I think so on the pea comb, but I'm not that good at all the different combs. But I know it is not a single comb. He is the roo in my avatar. I'll PM you more details about the whole pen later on tonight. I gotta go find some airplanes now.

I had a rude awakening this morning. A beautiful blue silkie pullet that I hatched from sebrightmom crowed this morning.

This thing has a crest to die for, big and puffy. And it's a rooster. Just my luck.

I'm so tired my eyeballs physically hurt. That or it's dehydration. I also feel like an emotional blubber ball. I'm welling up just listening to DH sing DS to sleep. He's having such a hard time with being sick. It must be strange since it's the first time he's had anything like this in the three years he's been on this earth. Going to bed and praying tomorrow will be a better day. Night all!
