Dry Incubation works best for marans. I keep mine 35% and under for the first 18 days. Stopping turning a day early would not have caused a problem I don't think. I had some that did get turned for days and they hatched just fine. In my hatcher and bator I use a terry cloth towel and drape it over the edge of my water so it is like a wick. Putting it near the heat and fan will help too. Sorry about the hatch.![]()
Thanks! I don't know how I got my info all messed up on the humidity. I think I was drowning the poor little things!
The wicking idea sounds like it'll work well - more surface area for the water to evaporate.
I'll get this figured out by golly!
oh I am so glad I was drinking anything! that is too funny. Well I hope he continues to do well and if for some reason you don't see any improvements look into the Cancer Treatment Centers. There is one in Phoenix. We have a friend that was only given a few weeks to live and written off by his doctors. They only were giving him choices for palliative care. Him or his parents contacted the cancer treatment center and sent his medical info. They called them and told them to get their son on a plane. They said Ok, but we need to look into tickets. They said NO we said GET him to the airport NOW. They had the ticket waiting for him and they took him right away. He had 2 different types of cancer. They treated him and he is now cancer free! amazing place. With his insurance he has yet to see a bill.![]()
Oh, my gosh - that's amazing! My husband's co-worker was diagnosed with terminal cancer a few months ago. I'll let him know about this right away.
Thank you!!!
