I wrapped mine in a paper towel and laid it on the bottom of the box. They can't peck at it but can sit near it or on it to stay warm.Question: If you put a warm pack in with chicks..how do you do it? Tape it to the side? On the bottom under shaving? Wrapped in a towel? I have to drop 6 chicks with a friend that will transport, it is in the 20s tonight.
so I have 3.5 dozen eggs to set tonight and I'm hoping in 3 weeks my incubator will be off until April.
