That reminds me...I think I have rats in the unoccupied henhouse. I need to set live catch traps and see exactly who owns that tunnel...then evict them! I want to put chickens down there in March!

I have 6 OE chicks from KYTinpusher, and 3 more pipped! I put 24 eggs into lockdown. Hatch day is tomorrow so lots of early hatchers. These are my birthday chicks. I hope a few of the SFH hatch! It is snowing like crazy here! Lake effect snow. I bet over 6 inches so far and still snowing heavy!







The evil ducks my neighbors hate:

And yeah, on the ducks? Even if they change the ordinances the ones you have should be grandfathered in. So don't sell any yet!

Actually, I believe they'd not only be grandfathered in, but provided you kept them, you could continue breeding and raising them.

YEEECH! The only thing worse than a dead rat is a live one.

Just got back in myself from changing water/bringing them warm scrambled eggs (had to get them down off their roosts to eat it -- lazy things were in bed already!) They pigged out then all clambered back up and snuggled together, stuffed and happy I like happy chickens

Actually, I believe they'd not only be grandfathered in, but provided you kept them, you could continue breeding and raising them.

Well, they can do obnoxious things like limit the number to whatever is currently on the property.
