I know! I received my Coronations from GF and they were really grouchy, of course 2 full grown birds per box.... I would be pretty grouchy too, one of the boxes with 2 hens was apparently a bad idea because the one hen was dead on arrival (I did get some cool eggs to replace here though). One hen even laid an egg in the box on the trip here. Congrats!! Can't wait to get some of your eggs.

They had the rooster in his own box and the 2 hens in a box to themselves. The hens have some size to them as well.

When I peered in their boxes at the PO, I was just in awe!! He's a hefty boy too.

I love big birds...and they lay white eggs...that is cool since most of the larger framed birds lay brown eggs

Yup, I have a cracked white egg on my counter right now. They remind me a lot of Ameraucanas but I like these guys a lot more.

It was over $110 to ship these 3. Him alone was close to $60

thats high, I can send two adult sebastopols for $135 in one box, and a single juvenile for $70- $90

well then thats an excellent deal for you. Sounds like they arent printing shipping at the farm, but paying counter rates which are higher.
