You do know they are a hybrid and as such are sterile?

soooooooo just bought a buff sebastopol gander and a blue sebastopol goose will get them this week. Oh and hubby encouraged me to get them lol
I am just stopping by for a few minutes to catch up.... Actually home today all day! first time in soooo long. Cleaning all of the duck pens.

I finally decided I was tired of spooning and swooning over everybody's sebbies and hatching them for others, transporting them for others (so hard to deliver them and say goodbye) so that is my Valentine and anniversary present is Sebbie Geese! So, so, so excited. cannot sleep for dreaming of them.

Now, Hubby who 'hates' geese (why I never tried to keep any) is smitten with the pics of the Exhibition style dewlap T. geese exp. the buff ones. Over the years the only geese he has been around is the tall, mean rangy honkers that friends have 'cause nobody else will take the rotten things.

Maybe, if the sebbies are a hit and the clean-up and care is do-able we can add a few of those. He wants to get a pump for the creek and dig a small pond with drain/clean ..... Probably never happen and the big pools will be done but nice to think about.

back to trying to finish catching up. One more pen to clean but it can wait until after dinner -- take out chinese for friday night stay home date nite!
