I am looking forward to photos. You have quite the flock! The crests are far bigger. We'll see what the color difference is when they are grown.

I like it too. Nice movement and colors. Beautiful!
Good thinking. My problem is I never have help and it's hard to keep them safe and get good photos at the same time.. maybe I just need to get more creative!
Yup, my DH can't complain at all. At least my hubby pays for itself in a way. I bought feed today and the girls paid for it. His hobby, Jeeps, doesn't pay for itself at all.I have noticed in the last month, my husband hasn't complained about my chickens... Why, you may ask, has someone -who has made it no secret that he hates my chicken addiction- decided to keep his month closed for a whole month of blessed respite from complaining? The answer is simple, because after selling eggs and chicks this month, I haven't asked him for any money for chicken food or supplies. :lol
I have BCM, my own birds, going into lock down tomorrow. I am excited to see the chicks and how they look. I also am planning o driving over to Kraftyladies tomorrow. It is very nice of her to have us over, my boys are a handful.
Patience has NEVER been my strong suit.I never have help either, and all my pictures that I have ever uploaded on here have been taken with my phone camera. It really is just about getting it focused and taking a ton!

I was thinking of making a box to take photos of chicks in, with a light source and everything. Think I read that here somewhere. Now is the time.. have a brooder full of chicks to get pics of. The polish crosses are the cutest chicks, I just can't believe it. They're all cute but there is something really sweet about them in particular.![]()
Thanks Madam. That's exactly what I had in mind. Perfect!
I think I will try that out too!
Mine!Heh, that's similar to what I did with the puppy photos: This is a big styrofoam igloos and a couple props. Thought the shots turned out pretty cute. The styrofoam was nice for grip, they didn't slip about.

Oh, and altered the colors on my logo-to-be. Better, I think...more readable. Which do you like better? (Right - before; Left - after)
Love my little igloo backdrop. LOL
